I read about her Butter Chicken the other day and requested her to share the recipe and tried it out on Sunday and it came out real yummy!!

Since the butter chicken was a bit oilly, it goes real well with Steam Tau Fu with Siew Pak Choy!!
Meanwhile, just to share the delicious Steam Prawn "bee hoon" prepared by hubby on labour day.... It was yummy too!!

Traditional Steamed Cake

My niece gave me this very simple recipe last week and i tried immediately and am very happy with the result. It's so easy to prepare and it's really yummy yummy!
I didn't steam it in the bamboo basket in the traditional way, insteaed i used the paper cups which will be much more convenience and easy to eat!

English Scones

Learn to bake these scones from DD's friend in UK. Iove the cheese scones vy much. Em doesnt like cheese, so have to bake some raisin scones specially for her! Hey El, if you are reading this, just want to let you know that they are "real " nice scones (can fight with Isobel's) and not "stones" hahaha!
These are the scones hot from the oven!

Blessed Christmas!

Blessed Christmas and a Prosperous New Year 2008 to all of you!

Here are my home baked Christmas Fruit Cakes ready for delivery.

Fruit Cakes for Christmas!

After returning from Europe, I managed to get back in time to bake some fruit cakes for Christmas before leaving for Seoul, Korea. It has been very rush, shopping for the ingredients, wrapping materials etc etc..... Nevertheless, it's worth the effort. Because we preferred home bake fruit cakes! Here are the cakes came out hot from the oven:

"Monkey Bread"

Visited DD in UK and she told me that she misses "monkey bread" and asked me to bake for her. Unfortunately, I didn't have the recipe with me and it has been a long long time I stop baking thus I have to disappoint her by telling her that I will bake for her when she return for CNY! Meanwhile, she can just take a look at the delicious "money bread" I baked after retuning from our Europe holidays!

Look at the "monkey bread" in the hot oven.

This is how it looks after 30mins baking.

Ready to serve!

Em and Ade got their cups ready to have tea!
